Britain's Heritage with the RSA

12 October 2015

Posted by Anna Fraser

Every week we like to show you examples of Picfair pics in the wild - licensed images being used by buyers across the world to help their businesses, publications, and websites stand out from the crowd.

This week we're taking an analytical look at Britain's heritage with the RSA (the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce). The RSA is great organisation which promotes the idea that 'all human beings have creative capacities that, when understood and supported, can be mobilised to deliver a 21st century enlightenment'. Their report 'Heritage, Sociey and Place' aims to encourage the social and economic growth of different locations in Britain by using the knowledge gathered to 'help forge a stronger link between heritage and the identity of residents in a place'.

The RSA have used a gorgeous shot from photographer Craig Yates of rooftops in Whitby as a front page cover for their report, and it looks beautiful. Many thanks to the RSA for using Picfair, and congrats to Craig for the use of his image!

If you're a photographer who wants to license your images and make money like Craig has … sign up and start uploading your pics!
