How To Make Money From Your Instagram Images

19 March 2020

Posted by Philip Mowbray

Instagram’s editing and filtering options, though not as advanced as professional editing software, can still produce stunning images. Here’s how you can start making money from those images!

You'll need to sign up to Picfair to get your free photography store first.

You could make money from your instagram images!

Instagram posts are displayed at a resolution of 1080x1080 in the app, but they are also stored in a special folder on your mobile device at double that resolution. In many cases, this resolution is large enough for commercial image buyers - particularly for web use. Here’s how to locate the images:

Android:

1) Go to your Gallery/Images app

2) Locate the ‘Instagram’ folder

3) Inside, you’ll find high resolution versions of your instagram posts

iOS:

1) Go to the Photos app

2) Go into My Albums

3) Here you will find the Instagram folder

(If you can’t find the folder, this may help)

Upload your Instagram folder to Picfair to make money from your creations

How to upload your Instagram images to your store:

1) Log in to Picfair on your mobile device

2) Go to the upload page and start the upload process

3) Find your Instagram folder on your device. You can choose to upload the entire folder, or select the images you want to upload

4) Choose your prices and follow the keywording instructions.

And that’s it! Your images will be available to purchase on both your store, and the Picfair marketplace!
