Interview with Roberto Murgia

Hi Roberto! Tell us about yourself in two sentences - who are you?

Hello everyone. I have been an amateur photographer for about three years and am based in Sardinia, an island in Italy.

QWhat's the weirdest situation you've found yourself in while taking a photograph?

AI'm a lover of all kinds of photography, but especially nature. I often go to the lake at Molentargius (a Nature Park near my house) which is very wet, so I frequently find myself with bites from many kinds of insects! I'm really obsessed with reflections in nature.

QWhat do you shoot on? What's your favourite set up?

AI use a Nikon d750 usually with Tamron 150 -600mm, my preferred setting is f\8 and a speed not under 1\2500sec for wildlife shooting. I usually take pics in the early morning and fortunately I live near the Nature Park of Molentargius, so it's very easy for me to find fauna and birds to photograph.

QWhat's your number one tip for an aspiring photographer?

AI am not an expert but for those who like photography of birds I encourage you to study their habits, it is a big advantage.
