The whole of America gasped as Neil Armstrong set foot on the surface of the moon for the first time. Millions of families had followed the event on their television. This one moment has rewritten the course of history. Ever since, outer space is no longer thought of as an unreachable, mysterious realm, with us getting closer every day as technology advances. With the use of long-exposure photography we can capture a fragment of the sublime beauty one would rarely ever come across otherwise. Just look at the hazy white glow, the light rays emanating from a million of invisible stars; the thick, radiantly beaming clouds. Who knows what’s behind them? Who knows where they end? Who knows if we’ll ever get closer to them than this?
