Having carried a camera around for over 50 years and been in some facet of the photography business for some 30 years, I figure it’s time to share and make some of my best work available for your enjoyment. Most of what you see here comes from my digital collection. However, there will be additions from my collection of film photos from years ago as I digitize that work.
These are recently added bars to the windows of Ft. Pickens. I imagine they kept folks out during the time the Fort was condemned. Now they just make for an interesting contrast in this photo. Makes a nice monochrome shot as well.
In the fork of the Duck River and the Little Duck River, we find this large field. It is believed to be a Native American gathering place prior to the founding of the US. Speculation runs that this was a place where tribes came together for various worship cermonies, etc. Think an very old time camp meeting.
The base of the drive to the house we stayed in atop a mountain outside Jasper, GA. The house was so far up that the driveway had two swich backs in it. It seemed like half way to heaven - great views, incredible company, and time to praise God for it all!
