HMS Liverpool was a Type 42 Destroyer of the Royal Navy. She was built by Cammell Laird in Birkenhead and launched on 25 September 1980. HMS Liverpool was the last Type 42 Destroyer in service. She is pictured berthed at her spritual home of Liverpool on her final farewaell visit before being decommissioned on 30 March 2012.
