I am an Australian photographer currently based in Arlington, Virginia. My motto is: "Capture the moment and make it unique". I always carry some kind of camera with me as you never know when you will come across a memorable moment. The most important thing for me is to capture a personality and beauty.
As we were hiking there was this little clearing with beautiful greens and yellows in full light. The center of the image is taken by this strangely looking old tree trunk or roots it is a little hard to tell what they used to be before.
Houseboats are becoming very popular in some of the larger cities, you can find them on canals in Amsterdam or Copenhagen, but also on rivers, lakes and bays in other places. Those ones here are from Seattle.
Kronborg Castle, or Hamlet's castle or Elsinore castle located in a coastal town of Helsingor is a beautiful place to visit. Dance hall is one of the few big open rooms with lots of light. Just imagine dancing here in the long dresses with the king.
The key to this capture was patience. The squirrel run around the tree, ate some leftover popcorn and then went up the tree. She was interested in the camera but also was gently indicating to get out of her face.
