Three young Kabuli girls waiting for a taxi. Two of them caught me taking the shot and the look in the eyes says it all. They are all wearing surgical masks due to the air quality in Kabul which in the winter is truly appalling due to all the wood and coal burnt to keep people warm.
I photographed this interesting gentleman and his companion on a trip to London. He was walking down the street with the dog on his shoulder. He gave me permission to take a few shots.

The life of the day labourer is a hard one, you can spend hours waiting for a job never knowing how big or small it will be. This labourer makes his way past a stall selling nuts. Behind them you can see blast walls decorated with anti war and anti drug graffiti.
Taken in the town of Tupiza, Bolivia. This street dog looked calmly down the lens as I framed this shot. His demeanour was one of confidence and honor. I also get the feeling he would have a good many stories to tell if only he had the chance.
