Water seems to have a magical ability to bring a shot to life. It can provide a sense of movement, drama and scale, it can create jewel-like droplets that sparkle and shimmer in the light, or it can provide a perfect reflection that inverts to scene in front of you onto a new plane. Many of the pics in this week's collection feature water in some form or another, and we kick off with this glorious shot of 'Two Bridges' in New York by photographer Sven Hartmann.
