Mount Elbert near Leadville, Colorado, claims the title of highest peak at 14,433 feet, while Pikes Peak the second most visited peak on the planet (only behind Japan’s Mount Fuji). It’s home to a huge variety of flora and fauna, and also home to several National Parks within the two countries.
