Spiders are not exactly the world’s most beloved animals. The little critters have a habit of popping up in your house whenever and wherever you least expect them, especially as the weather outside gets colder. I too had to overcome a mild case of arachnophobia to write this post, like three to six percent of the general world population. Your average daddy longlegs I can handle, but the hairy variety really needs to stay out of my vicinity – for both our sakes. Luckily our talented photographers possess the skills to make almost any object, place or living creature look good – even spiders. Whether this is behavioural therapy for you fellow arachnophobes, or just a nice little primer for Halloween, we hope you enjoy our selection of spider shots.
