Split-Level Photography = to capture a scene from both above and below the water level.
Also commonly known as the 'over and under' or 'half and half' method; this technique is one of the most effective ways to capture these two worlds and leave the viewer in awe, it is particularly popular for coral reef & sea life photography, with fish-eye or wide-angle lenses a popular choice, used to really encompass all aspects of the scene. Split-level images are a favourite for travel and adventure features, and we're anticipating a stream of requests for this type of imagery in the coming months for holiday-season campaigns.
