I recently watched a YouTube video by a British photographer Andy Banner discussing “Honeypot” photography locations, locations you go back to photograph over and over. Honeypot locations in Oklahoma would be places like the Philbrook museum, the Lake Hefner Lighthouse, or Scissortail park. For wildlife photography honeypot Oklahoma locations would include the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Chickasaw National Recreation Area, and Robber’s Cave State Park. Well my personal wildlife honeypot photography location is Martin Nature Park. I always find a willing subject whether it is a playful squirrel or a simple robin.
