Your favourite photographer:
It’s really hard to choose just one, but Ragnar Axelsson comes first to my mind. There are a lot of great documentary photographers out there, but Ragnar stands out for his life-long dedication in documenting the Arctic’s indigenous people and its changing climate.

Your best tip for other photographers:
Never stop looking at the world with fresh eyes, there is always something wonderful hidden in the apparently mundane.

Your favourite photograph:
Once a year, fishermen from a small village located in the eastern part of Romania, gather together and begin trawling. This photograph below was taken while documenting last year’s gathering, on the 1st of December. I really enjoy photographing people that are working, it’s my way of paying respects with regards to their hard work; I usually try to be as unnoticeable as one can be, trying not to interfere in any way, but sometimes that’s impossible and my camera meets the other’s gaze. This is one of those instances.
