Denise is a UK-based photographer who brings us a sensational series of street photography from Varanasi, India to their Picfair Store.

Favourite photographer:
At the moment, this is street photographer Vineet Vohra. Steve McCurry is also a firm favourite. He ignited a love of colour photography, whereby previously I’d always swayed towards black and white.

Best tip for other photographers:
Just go out and shoot with your heart. Shoot what you love and make pictures that make you happy. Don’t stress over having the best gear, In my opinion, it’s the moment that makes the picture. And if you can add in some great light too, then you’re winning!

Favourite photo:
My favourite photograph changes weekly! I honestly don’t really have one. I can be pretty critical of myself and what I might think is a great shot one minute, I’m looking at the next day thinking how I could have done it better. However, I’ve chosen a photo someone else chose as their favourite (below). I like it too as it reminds me of a particular moment of serenity amongst what was otherwise a totally chaotic place.
