Mark Callander is a landscape photographer from Scotland, who loves to photograph the beauty of the Scottish landscape.
What appeals to him most in photography is the ability to freeze a moment in time, to look at a picture and remember the whole story behind it. He describes his time with the camera as where he is able to slow down and appreciate things in their simplest form.
Favourite photographer: Max Rive
My tip for other photographers:
Everyone likes to go out and shoot the golden hour when the weather is nice, but most people won’t go out when the weather is bad. Some of my favourite images that I've taken have been on rainy, dull days . You can get some really dramatic moody images when the weather is poor.
