"There is something so wholesome about our cliffs, mountains, hills, lakes, coves, beaches, our coastline."
Marcus is a freelance photographer from Galway, Ireland. His Picfair Store features serene and beautiful adventure/landscape shots of Ireland - a country with one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
Tough one, there's so many, but I'd have to go with British photographer Sam Oetiker - want to mirror his kind of style someday.
- Learn the basic principles of photography and composition (rule of thirds, exposure triangle, leading lines etc) first, practice everywhere on everything you can, and (something I'm trying to do more of is) try to tell a story through your photos. Whether an Instagram story, post carousel or two/three photos sharing one frame, photographs posted in a chronological sequence of the day's events will tell a story and capture the viewer, transporting them to the scene and giving them a vivid vision of the day.
- Including people in your photos will draw people in.
- Save photos from artists you follow and try to emulate their approaches with your own twist, to develop your own style of that niche.
