At Picfair, we love all types of images and it is a delight to see these uploaded to your Picfair-powered stores and to the Marketplace. There are, however, a few restrictions on the types of images that we can accept, these are displayed on the upload page, but you can also see them in more detail in our FAQs here.
By far, the most common reason why images aren't accepted is that they either contain personal signatures or watermarks, or some form of additional text. We don't accept images containing anything with added text as we know from experience that buyers prefer to license images that are crisp and clear of text, and having text over an image can limit its usage potential.
In order to avoid your images being rejected once you have uploaded them, you'll find some visual examples below of the most common types of additional text we see.
Note: if you're a Picfair Plus subscribe and would like your images to feature your own custom watermark on your store, this needs to be configured after you have uploaded your images. Read more on custom watermarks here.
