Is there such thing as a lucky photographer? Sometimes, maybe. But then you look a little deeper, pour through a photographer's back catalogue - and these isolated incidents become a little less ... isolated. The splendid lens glare that illuminates a Nepalese bridge crossing; the crashing wave that perfectly frames a fisherman; the goose pulling off the perfect balletic plié; the Indian lady peeking out from behind a billboard. This week's Picks include the spoils of photographic patience, not luck. Wait until the right shot comes along ... don't give up ... try a hundred times before you get it right. Bravo to everyone included this week ... it was worth the wait.
