If Ireland for you only calls up images of leprechauns, three-leaf clovers and drunken debauchery, it’s high time you visit the country. Although the Irish do like their pubs, I encountered no leprechauns or clovers when I arrived there in 2013 for a student exchange semester. Instead, I found a country of vast, wild beauty, an incredibly warm and welcoming people, and a wealth of cultural heritage. Anyone who visits Ireland ends up pleasantly surprised by the mesmerising cliffs, bogs and bays, despite the usually awful weather. We’ve selected some of our photographers’ best shots to show off the country’s natural wonders. Enjoy!
