Interview with Steve Palmer

24 June 2016

Posted by Anna Fraser

Hi Steve! Tell us about yourself in two sentences - who are you?

I'm an amateur photographer who works in IT, and I am happiest taking photographs in the great outdoors.

QWhat's the weirdest situation you've found yourself in while taking a photograph?

AI was looking down at the back LCD of my camera reviewing photos, when I was asked why I was taking "selfies" of my feet by an elderly lady!

QWhat do you shoot on? What's your favourite set up?

AI use a Pentax K5II with a DFA 100mm macro lens and a Sigma 24mm macro lens, all shot in natural light.

QWhat's your number one tip for an aspiring photographer?

AKeep shooting, keep learning, keep experimenting.
