Adrian

Interview with Adrian Moysey

23 January 2015

Posted by Sally Hart

Hi Adrian! Tell us about yourself in two sentences - who are you?

Having spent 26 years in an office environment photography became my release. With all that behind me, I’m working on a lifestyle career change and fingers crossed looking to turn pro this year! It’s a slow process, but an interview like this is a great opportunity to get noticed, so thanks for this guys!

QWhat's the weirdest situation you've found yourself in while taking a photograph?

AI was in Richmond Park hiding in the fern focusing on this stag walking along the path beside me, when I heard a rustling behind me and turned to see another stag getting to his feet! Antlers fully loaded with fern and branches and less than 10 feet away from me, needless to say I missed the shot!

QWhat do you shoot on? What's your favourite set up?

ACurrently I have a Nikon D800E and I’m lucky to have lenses for all opportunities. I recently added a Nikon f/2.8 70-200mm for wedding and portraiture photography and I’m having a lot of fun with this, it’s a great lens in low light.

QWhat's your number one tip for an aspiring photographer?

ANever go out without a camera!
