Sweden has long been seen as an idyllic country by outsiders. This is mainly due to its clean streets, progressive politics, and incredible natural landscapes. In this photo set we focus on the latter, where we take a look at the scenery in some of the 25 provinces which form the country. These regions are called landskap and serve no political or administrative purpose - instead they are based on geography and play an important role in peoples’ self-identity and culture. Sweden’s plain and crisp landscapes create an aura of colours, shapes, and reflections that are a photographer’s dream.
