‘In The Wild’ this week and we’re on the hunt for good times and adventure, checking back in with Hoop, an app aimed at helping families discover fun things to do with their kids.
Hoop has now expanded to 21 cities across the UK, helping a quarter of a million families and amongst these new territories, the app has launched in Newcastle, Dundee and Wakefield - licensing three images from Picfair photographers, in the process of announcing this news.
From Newcastle, a stunning night shot of the city’s Quayside comes from photographer Stephen Taylor. Hoop’s product design lead, Humberto De Sousa shared, “we just love the shapes in the photo – it's a really iconic part of the city”. From Dundee, Keith Fergus’ image overlooking the city and the River Tay from Dundee Law was chosen, beautifully capturing the deep blue skyline and scenic environment underneath. Finally, the third image licensed comes from Robert Chlopas, taken in Yorkshire Sculpture Park (Wakefield), a close up of a stunning mosaic sculpture in the heart of the UK’s leading open air gallery.
With glowing feedback from the Hoop team, “Picfair has never let us down”, we’re delighted to be able to assist in telling stories that mark the exciting next stage of their growth.
