Celebrate Africa

There’s no place on earth like Africa. We’ve got the pics to prove it. Just take a look at this week’s themed collection below, compiled from entries to our Celebrate Africa photo contest sponsored by Canon, in association with New African magazine. From images of larger-than-life African people to the extensive wildlife that occupies the land, to modern Africa, and its dynamic cities and buildings — the competition shines a light on the visual diversity of the most varied continent on earth.

Open to residents of Africa until 15th April, prizes to be won include holidays, DSLR cameras, expert workshops and more. Those not eligible can still explore some of the amazing entries so far (all priced at as little as £10 or under) and join us in celebrating the beauty that is Africa.
