Whilst we know the world doesn't revolve around sport, it feels like it might at least give it a little spin as we come closer and closer to kick off in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The World Cup is the most widely viewed and followed sporting event in the world, even surpassing the Olympic Games; Wikipedia tells us 'the cumulative audience of all matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup was estimated to be 26.29 billion with an estimated 715.1 million people watching the final match, a ninth of the entire population of the planet.' !!!
In 2018 the event is hosted in Russia, with the first match taking place between Russia and Saudi Arabia on Thursday 14 June.
To celebrate this momentous event, we thought we'd take you around the world with an image from each of the 32 competing nations.
